The Team : Marketing Operations (MO)

The Marketing Operations (MO) team is an operational arm of Chegg Marketing and is critical to its success. The team is involved in acquiring customers through multiple marketing channels like organic search, paid search, email, social, affiliate, and display. Going beyond customer acquisition, MO participates in analyzing students' behavioral trends to enable better business outcomes. The team also monitors and assesses the industry landscape to generate actionable insights. 

The Role : Senior Associate - Performance Marketing

Execution of paid media campaigns on ad serving systems such as Facebook/ Instagram. Inclusive of set up, schedule management, creative, campaign optimizations budget allocations and reporting on performance. The candidate will be given an opportunity to learn and execute campaigns on Double Click Campaign Manager and DoubleClick Bid Manager (Google Display and Video 360).

The Responsibilities:

• Execution of paid social media campaigns in the Facebook platform for Chegg. Managing ad campaign setup, trafficking creative, execution, and contribution to reporting on performance.
• Test and perform quality assurance on ad tags and creatives to ensure specifications are met ahead of a campaign launch.
• Provide analysis and send performance updates to internal marketing and business teams on campaign management and performance
• Proactively identify issues leading up to a launch and during a live campaign that would prevent hitting KPI's and performance benchmarks

The Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in any domain with 2+ years of experience in executing Social campaigns on Facebook/Instagram.
• Experience managing campaign pacing and performance, providing internal and client teams with insights or optimization recommendations
• Experience pulling data and generating advanced excel reports
• High attention to detail, top-notch analytical skills, and the ability to make data-driven decisions
• Problem solving mentality, always looking for more efficient ways to improve process.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated; independent, organized, and proactive; highly responsive, flexible, and adaptable when working across multiple channels.

Preferred:

• Experience on other buying platforms (Snapchat, Twitter).
• Basic knowledge on ad serving systems such as DCM, DV360.
• Process driven/experience working in a process driven environment
